Are you a commercially driven Business Development Manager with experience in events, hospitality, travel, or venue sourcing, looking for a role with genuine progression and autonomy?

In this role, you will generate and convert new business opportunities through networking, meetings, presentations, and industry events, while building a strong pipeline through referrals, CRM activity, procurement platforms, and digital outreach. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and handover of new accounts.
This role would suit a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or New Business Executive with experience in events, hospitality, travel, venue sourcing, or service-led B2B sales environments.
The Role
- Generate and convert new business opportunities across events and venue sourcing services
- Conduct face-to-face meetings, networking events, site visits, and presentations
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM
- Attend industry exhibitions, client events, and networking opportunities
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support enquiry conversion
- Hybrid role – mixture of home working, Hinckley office, and client meetings
The Person
- Experience within business development, sales, or client acquisition
- Background in events, hospitality, travel, or related sectors
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Commercially driven with a proactive mindset
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
